MARINES HELPING MARINES

Department of FL Marines helping Marines Chairman Lou Slagle, a member of the PFC Bruce W. Carter Detachment, worked tirelessly, along with others, to get our Wounded Warriors accommodated. They were brought in from all over the country to attend the Super Bowl. A pig roast was held in their honor. Many Marine Corps Leaguers,City politicians and the Miami Dolphin Cheerleaders and several of the players were on hand to greet them.

L/Cpl Patrick Xavier KIA May 18

MCL Members from District 10 gather to Greet L/Cpl Xavier arriving at the airport. 20 BSO motorcycles escorted Marine Xavier and his family to Fred Hunters furneral home in Hollywood. The leathernecks MC was also present along with a row of Marines holding American Flags at the exit of the airport.
